In this full-day workshop, Dan Mall will share stories from the trenches of both big and small responsive projects, show you how to tweak your waterfall methodology into something more effective, help you figure out where Photoshop belongs in your workflow, recommend a few new deliverables and artifacts, and suggest a new step-by-step process that will give you confidence to design and develop for a multi-device world.
A lot of time goes into building responsive sites, partly because we’re all still finding our way. Many of us are still trapped in the high-fidelity, multi-comp process where we spend weeks preparing and pitching to clients in order to identify a suitable visual direction for projects. But we’re often missing out on new opportunities to cover lots of ground quickly, preserving project time and budget for other areas that really need it.
In this workshop, you'll learn:
- How to make your design process more effective,
- Integrate design tools such as Keynote, Photoshop, Sketch,
- Responsive Design tips and tricks,
- Collaboration with colleagues and clients ,
- Project management methodologies,
- Old and new deliverables.
Further information on the event location and the workshop itinerary are included within the ticket confirmation (PDF) — downloadable after your purchase.
This workshop is appropriate for all experience levels. This workshop is for designers, art directors, creative directors, developers, project managers, and anyone else who believes that responsive web design doesn’t have to have a million comps.
