Chathura Asanga:

You will never fell lazy to read it!!!

I bought this book(of course all four printed books & 8 eBooks so far), and I just finished reading a part of the first chapter, which has been written by Paul Boag. Then once I felt like visiting the site and add my review, because of what I felt while reading it.

It was truly very practical; and he has discussed about most of the practical problems and greater solutions. Additionally, he has mentioned about a lot of mistakes we made having an unclear mind while deciding of redesign of a website.

I am working for a bank—hence we most of the times deal with our internal customers. The facts those the author has mentioned under the topics such as "scope creep" & "Falling victim to fashion & trend" are absolutely true—and I truly believe that I found most of the answers for some questions I had all over these years, while I was reading first few pages of it's first chapter.

When talking about the book:
Softcover(Smashing book #1) was cool—but not durable! (Smashing book#2)Hardcover was cool as well—but a little harder to handle while reading. This flexbound cover(Smashing book #3 and #3-1/3) is way cooler, because it looks durable and easier to handle while reading as well. The colors, typography, and the entire look and feel is truly awesome. So it(actually all four printed books) obviously looks/look even better on my table, than a vessel of potpourri.
:-)

So, I would recommend this to be purchased. I am sure that you would be very happy with that decision.
