Rachel Andrew on "Shipping Your Product: How to Supercharge A Launch" (Berlin, December 4th 2013)

Quick Overview

When launching any product — be that a piece of software, an app, an eBook or even an online course — there are many things that you will need to do in addition to developing the product itself. These range from design and branding, to deciding how you will take payment and establishing systems for secure delivery of your product. Getting these elements into place can take as much time as developing the product in the first place and can involve a lot of decisions and financial outlay even before you ship.

Full Product Description

In this workshop you will learn from Rachel's experience in launching a product. By the end of the day, you should have an action plan tailored to your own product idea, listing the things you will need to do to launch your own product, with some clear next steps.

Who Should Attend This Workshop?

This workshop will suit everybody who is currently pre-launch of some kind of product that they intend to mostly sell and distribute online. It would also be useful to anyone who has dipped their toe in the water but wants to formalize their sales, marketing and support systems in order to grow.

Rachel is a keen bootstrapper, so this workshop will not assume you have a huge staff or a lot of money to spend. Keeping things lean and efficient will be the focus and we will cover a range of possible options for each area.

Discussion will be encouraged throughout the day, in order that any specific issues attendees have can be covered and also so we can learn from the experiences of each other. This will be a practical day, rather than a lecture.

• Pricing models
• How to support your product
